Could a good lawyer have saved Jesus?

Answer 1
No, and if a good lawyer could have saved Him in Judea at that time, then Jesus would have been born into a different time and place.
His unjust conviction and cruel crucifixion were necessary elements of the Father’s plan to offer up His Only Begotten Son as the ultimate sacrifice to the demands of eternal justice to accomplish an infinite atonement for the sins of every repentant but loving son or daughter of God on earth.
And why is there sin and evil here in the first place? Because that is the nature and purpose of this life - for each of us to learn for ourselves, in a place where both good and evil side-by-side in a laboratory of contrasting values, to choose for ourselves either evil or good. And no one but the Son of God could ever escape this life without sin - so no one but the Son of God could ever overcome the consequences of sin (physical death and spiritual death, i.e. estrangement from God) and offer himself as a ransom for the sins of others.
So the question is moot - the entire history of revelation to Jewish prophets and the development of civilization points to the centrality of the life and death of Jesus Christ in God’s plan, so God made sure that lawyers would not be a factor in that plan. How does God control what happens on earth? By setting in motion, given God’s perfect knowledge of all things, the events and circumstances of history by sending his spirit children to earth into the circumstances by which they will learn the most they can learn, become the most they are capable of becoming, and by the choices they make effectuate their own exaltation (eternal progression) or damnation (cessation of progression).
Those who choose good over evil inevitably choose to have faith in a Savior who had to unjustly suffer and die for our sins, and by their repentance avail themselves of His love and grace and opportunity to become perfect, even as our Father in Heaven is perfect, “cleansed” in the blood of Christ - to use a metaphor that baffles the faithless but his incredible meaning to believers who are confident in the salvation offered us by Jesus Christ. All because there was no lawyer “good” enough to interfere with God’s plan to let the wicked be wicked.
